BORUSSIA DORTMUND 2-0 PSV EINDHOVEN (3-1 AGG)

Borussia Dortmund are into the quarter-finals of the Champions League following a narrow win over PSV Eindhoven. A tense and tight game at Signal Iduna Park went the way of the home side courtesy of an early Jadon Sancho goal to put Dortmund 2-1 up on aggregate. PSV were left to rue several missed chances before Marco Reus settled the tie in stoppage time.

Borussia Dortmund are through to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League after surviving a stern second half test to beat PSV Eindhoven 2-0 to complete a 3-1 aggregate victory.

The German hosts dominated the first half from the moment Jadon Sancho opened the scoring in the third minute with a shot that snuck past the keeper from outside the box.

But PSV had all the momentum in the second half and missed a hatful of chances, with Luuk de Jong’s stoppage time miss the most egregious of the wasted opportunities, as they failed to force extra-time.
