Real SL and Columbus failed to open the scoring and the match corresponding to week 8 of United States – MLS 2024 ended in a draw.

Zac MacMath had a great performance. The Real Salt Lake goalkeeper was the protagonist against Columbus Crew: he contained 5 shots.

Another player who had a great game was Evan Bush. The Columbus Crew goalkeeper was the protagonist against Real Salt Lake: he contained 3 shots.

A high average of fouls constantly interrupted the development of the game. There were a large number of reprimands: Matt Crooks, Philip Quinton, Braian Ojeda, Max Arfsten, Emeka Eneli, Brayan Vera, Taha Habroune, Cristian Arango and Alexandros Katranis.

Ramy Touchan was in charge of supervising the order of play during the match.

On the next matchday Real SL will face Chicago Fire as a visitor, while Columbus will play as a visitor against Portland Timbers
