Portland Timbers defeat 2-0 on their visit to Charlotte FC

In a complicated visit to the Bank of America Stadium, for week 11 of the United States – MLS 2024 tournament, The Timbers fell to Charlotte FC 2-0. At 8 minutes into the second half, Nikola Petkovic led the way to victory with an outstanding execution. Enzo Copetti consolidated the victory, scoring 2-0 in the 45th minute of the same stage.

Charlotte FC will host Nashville SC on the next matchday. On the Timbers side, they will play at home against Seattle Sounders. The Timbers will seek to beat their eternal rival in a new edition of the Cascadia classic.
